Lake Weekend

This past weekend, we had the pleasure of going up to Lake Senteetlah (in NC) with some very close friends of ours - Rob, Mandy, Franklin, Elizabeth, and of course Trey.  It was so nice to get away for a while and really relax.  It's hard to find time in our busy schedules to get together (especially with the Swartwoods), so we really treasure an entire weekend to love on sweet Trey and catch up as adults.  Here are a few pictures from the weekend (courtesy of Bryan's brand new camera).

Friday night, we went up in a few car loads.  Mandy and Trey arrived to the lake first, quickly followed by me and Franklin.  We didn't want to have to wait for the attorney's want the attorney's to feel like they had to rush out just for us (who didn't end up leaving Atlanta until almost 7).

 This guy was the life of the party.  We first met Trey when he was less than 12 hours old, so he holds a very special place in our hearts.  It's been so much fun to watch this little guy grow up!

The house was right on the water, and the view was unbelievable.

We had a great time on the water - Rob showed off his waterskiing skills.

And I showed off my sitting on the boat and not water skiing skills.

More Trey love.  This kid may have gotten a little bit spoiled this weekend....

Bryan also had a great time wakeboarding.

This picture is blurry, but that's quite appropriate for the situation.  :) There may have been some mojitos and a dance party followed by a rousing game of Catch Phrase that the competitive lawyers won (b/c we didn't care and let them win).

We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends!!  Here's to more weekends just like that one.
