Catching up - Our weekend in Brunswick

So I got a little behind....I blame it on my new employment (more to come on that in the next post).  Anyway, two weekends ago we headed down to Brunswick for some quality family time, and had a blast! The "official" reason for our visit was Bryan's dad's b-day, but it was also a great chance to spend some time with not only Bryan's parents but his grandparents as well.  We had a wonderful time riding bikes on Jekyll Island and catching up.  It's always hard to go down there for just a weekend, and it always ends too soon - but it's totally worth it! Here are a few pics from the weekend!

It was quite hot that weekend, but we still had a great time exploring historic Jekyll by bike.

Bryan's parents even pulled out the two seater bike - it was a blast to watch his parents and grandparents take turns on it! :)

We enjoyed a nice lunch at the cafe of the Jekyll Island Hotel.

We went to an awesome pizza place on St. Simons for dinner.  The wait was long, but the company was great so we didn't mind.

The sunset was beautiful, and we enjoyed taking some dusk pictures of the island.

The pier is always gorgeous!
