A weekend full of friends

This past weekend was one where you realize what wonderful friends you have.  There have been multiple occasions in my life where I've been overcome with the feeling of thankfulness for friends; and this weekend was one of those times.

On Friday night, Kristina and Matt threw a fabulous "going away" party for me to say goodbye to all my PKM family.  Yes, I realize it's been a month since I left, but this was the first time we could coordinate all of our schedules.  It was actually really nice to be able to see everyone after I hadn't seen them in a while.  I was so thankful to everyone who came out, and I was even a little tearful at one point.  I am incredibly thankful though that I have been able to continue many of my friendships since I've gone to Coke.  Here are a few pics of the evening (we didn't take a ton b/c we were busy enjoying ourselves): 

It turns out Kris has quite the calling in centerpiece arrangements.  Everyone was quite impressed with her creativity and skills. :)

Saturday, we went to the UGA vs South Carolina game with Franklin and Elizabeth.  Before we could meet up with them though, we had to drop the dogs off at the Lischke's (yes we had just left their house only hours before we returned), but no one else could watch the dogs, and they were incredibly kind in offering.  We had a great time tailgating, and got to spend lots of time with the Andersons and the Whitworths. 

A cell phone pic was all we got of the festivities, but a good time was had by all. 

Saturday night, we couldn't bare to make the drive from Dunwoody back home (we were completely exhausted), so we just crashed at the Whitworths.  Sunday morning, we had breakfast with the Lischke's and picked the dogs up before going home and vegging until dinner with Bonney and Paul Sunday night.  Like I said - it was a weekend FULL of friends.  We wouldn't have it any other way though.
